| Our
office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 12:00 PM
and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Our La Jolla office is open for sick
calls on Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. We try to maintain
and appointment schedule that will accommodate your scheduling
needs for both well and sick appointments. Calls placed to our
office after 5:00 PM will be forwarded to our answering service,
which will notify the appropriate on-call provider. A physician
or nurse practitioner from our practice is on call every day
of the year to handle your after-hours emergencies. |

Hospital Affiliations |
| We
are affiliated with Rady Children’s Hospital, Scripps La Jolla,
Scripps Encinitas, and Sharp Mary Birch Center for Women. Our physicians
follow our patients personally if they are hospitalized to provide
the most continuous care. Our doctors are available for newborn circumcision
in the hospital and in our offices. It is our preference to perform
circumcision in the hospital. |

Prescriptions
and Referrals
|

Our
office staff is committed to making things run as smoothly
as possible. If you need a specialty referral, please let
our staff know. Most referrals take a few days to process.
Also, if your child needs a prescription refill, please call
in advance so we may review your child’s record and process
your request. Try to anticipate the need for this if you feel
you may run out of medication on weekend or a holiday.

If
your child needs shots without a well-check, we have “shots
only” appointments available at 8:45 AM and 1:45 PM. Please
schedule "shots only" appointments with our receptionist.

| This is your
chance to meet one-on-one with one of our board-certified pediatricians
before your baby is born to ask any questions you might have about
preparing for your baby. It also gives us a chance to know you and
introduce you to our staff. Call our office if you need to schedule
a prenatal consultation. |
